Matt Gerber knows a thing or two about the power of movement – to stir good chemicals in the brain and make a difference across the world. Originally from Oregon, he has traveled to more than 75 countries. Keenly aware of the ever-present opportunity to help someone else, his travel itinerary entails contacting orphanages prior to departing to determine their needed supplies and delivering them and his own cheerful company upon his arrival in the country. Having navigated his own battle with depression and suicidal thoughts, he knows everyone needs help some time. His international visits to orphanages infuse powerful meaning into his life in service to others while modeling the importance of corporate social responsibility he consults in today.
