Technology gets a bad rap in the world these days. People are afraid AI will take their jobs or eventually take over humanity. Such perspectives miss the otherwise bright future that is already underway companies all over the world that are levering today’s technology. They are already embracing artificial intelligence, 3D printing, robotics, advanced materials, extended realities, blockchain, autonomous vehicles and drones, and space technologies and are poised to leverage technological innovation even more so to address societal challenges like education access, poverty, sustainability, climate change, and pollution. In short, these enterprises are using “tech for good,” and the promise of further disruptive innovation is much vaster than you might imagine.
